Anil Das

Anil Das currently serves as Advisor to the Executive Director for India, Bhutan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka at The World Bank Group since June 2023, while also working as an Operations & Project Management Consultant at The World Bank since June 2009. Previous experience includes Program Manager for the Aspirational District Program at NITI Aayog (2019-2022) and roles at the Asian Development Bank, where responsibilities included Disaster Recovery Specialist advising the Nepal Planning Commission (2015-2016), Project Implementation & Livelihood Specialist focusing on tsunami rehabilitation in Tamil Nadu (2005-2008), and Project Implementation Officer for the Gujarat Earthquake Reconstruction Program (2001-2004). Anil Das's career began at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in New Delhi, serving as an Advisor from 1997 to 2000, with expertise across project development, management, and disaster management policy formation.
