Sunju Kokil

Sunju Kokil is a Project Officer at the World Customs Organization, focusing on the Environment Programme within the Compliance & Facilitation Directorate since January 2022. In addition, Sunju serves as a Board Member for the EU-Mauritius Youth Forum and previously worked as a Consultant for the International Organization for Migration in the latter half of 2021 and as a Programme Assistant from April 2019 to July 2021, contributing to migration-related initiatives. Prior experience includes roles as an External Auditor at EY and internships at the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity and the African Development Bank, gaining experience in project management, research support, and communication. Sunju holds multiple degrees including a Master's in International Business from Aberystwyth University and a Bachelor's in Political Science from the University of Ottawa, complemented by certifications in Public-Private Partnerships and ACCA studies.
