Fadia AlBuhairan, MD, MPH, PhD, currently serves as a Council Member for Women's Empowerment at the Ministry of Health Saudi Arabia and as Vice President for the MENA Region at the International Association for Adolescent Health. AlBuhairan is also a Board Member of the Child Care Association and a Strategic and Technical Advisor for the World Health Organization's Strategic and Technical Advisory Group of Experts on maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health and nutrition. In academia, AlBuhairan holds the position of Adjunct Professor at Alfaisal University. Additional roles include Senior Advisor and Pillar Lead for Leadership & Culture Transformation with the Health Sector Transformation Program and past leadership in various adolescent health organizations.
