Mohamed Kakay

Mohamed Kakay is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and external relations, currently serving as the Senior Program Manager and Unit Head for Program Management, External Relations, and Program Performance at the World Health Organization since August 2015. In this role, Mohamed oversees multiple units to advance strategic health integration and innovative financing solutions, enhancing WHO Pakistan’s influence within the health sector. Prior to this, Mohamed held various leadership positions in external relations and partnerships at WHO in Afghanistan and the United Nations Mission for Ebola Emergency Response. Mohamed's academic credentials include a Master's in International Development and a Certificate in Public Health from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a focus on International Relations and Political Science from Widener University.
