Roberta Boscolo currently serves as Chief of the WMO New York Liaison Office at the World Meteorological Organization, where responsibilities include bridging WMO and key UN stakeholders, advocating for global climate policy, and promoting science-driven solutions in multilateral dialogues. Previous roles include leading the Climate and Energy Unit, managing a significant portfolio of climate projects across multiple continents, and serving as Science and Communication Officer within the World Climate and Research Programme. Roberta has extensive project management experience from earlier positions at Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas and the National Oceanography Centre. Academically, Roberta holds advanced degrees in Physics, Mathematics, and International Organization EMBA, supplemented by a certificate in Business Administration and an advanced course in Energy and Climate Change Policy from Harvard Kennedy School.
