Julius Kramer

Julius Kramer serves as the Senior Dialogue and Peace Mediation Officer and Programme Lead at the Folke Bernadotte Academy, focusing on peace, security, and development. In a volunteer capacity, Julius acts as the Deputy Commissioner for Strategy at Scouterna, leading long-term strategic planning for a major Swedish NGO. As a Visiting Expert with the United Nations System Staff College, Julius facilitates lectures on inclusive peace and security. Previously, as a Youth, Peace and Security Adviser at the United Nations Assistance Mission in Somalia, Julius provided strategic advice on youth involvement in peacebuilding processes. A former Research Officer for the Swedish Delegation for the 2030 Agenda, Julius contributed to the national implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. Additional experience includes roles in education and emergency medical care, alongside ongoing undergraduate studies in International Law at the Swedish Defence University.
