Anna Amato is a seasoned Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Manager at the World Resources Institute since August 2021, specializing in the development of evidence-based Theories of Change and metrics for climate change activities. Prior experience includes over two decades at the World Bank as an Evaluation Specialist, where Anna prepared guidance for the department's first database archive and reviewed numerous projects. Anna also has experience as an Evaluation Specialist at DevTech Systems, Inc., where involvement included a final evaluation of a USAID project in Nigeria focused on renewable energy. Anna holds a Master's in Public Management with a focus on Environmental Policy and is engaged in Ph.D. work in Economics at the University of Maryland, along with a BA in Journalism and Italian from New York University.
