John Thoppil

John Thoppil possesses extensive experience in operations, finance, and resource development across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Global Operations (Grants and Contracts) at the World Resources Institute since January 2019, John previously held notable positions such as Finance and Grants Manager at J-PAL South Asia and Senior Manager of Resource Development at CRY - Child Rights and You. Earlier career roles include managerial positions in corporate sales and advertising with Deccan Chronicle Holdings, Bennett Coleman and Co. Ltd., The New Indian Express, and TBWA\India. John holds an MBA in Strategy and Marketing from the Indian School of Business, an MBA exchange in Global Strategic Management and Corporate Entrepreneurship from the National University of Singapore, and an MBA in Marketing and HR from PSG College of Technology. An undergraduate degree in English Literature with Journalism was completed at Loyola College.
