Russ Alexander

Russ Alexander has extensive work experience in the field of international education and program development. Russ currently serves as the Head of Innovation, Higher Education at WorldStrides. Prior to this, they worked at The Education Abroad Network as the Director of Programs and Development, where they were responsible for designing and developing educational programs across Southeast Asia and China. Russ also held the position of Manager in the Global Innovations Group at Macquarie University, overseeing the implementation of the Macquarie Global Leadership Program. In addition, Russ worked as a Consultant to the International Office at Deakin University and co-founded Australian and New Zealand Extreme Adventures. Russ began their career as the Associate Director of Study Abroad at the University of New South Wales and also had a brief secondment at the Australian Education Office, The Embassy of Australia.

Russ Alexander completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Industrial Relations at The University of New South Wales from 1989 to 1991. Prior to that, from 1980 to 1986, they attended Gosford High School where they earned their High School Certificate (HSC).
