Michael Valila

Michael Valila has a diverse range of work experience. In recent years, they have worked as an Outreach Specialist at the Wounded Warrior Project and as a Program Coordinator for the DAV Dept. Of MA Service Fund Inc. Veterans Advancement Program. Michael also served as Commander at DAV Chapter #4 Worcester. Previously, Michael was a National Service Officer for the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) and a Dormitory Supervisor at Adams and Associates. Additionally, they have worked as a Trustee for VFW Post 2158. Michael has also been involved in suicide prevention efforts, serving as a State Certified Trainer for the Suicide Prevention Resource Center (SPRC) and as a Vets to Vets Facilitator for the Montachusett Suicide Prevention Task Force (MSPTF). Prior to their civilian work, they served in the US Army as an 88M/91B and worked as a Direct Care Counselor at Spectrum Health.
