Leen Vandereyken

Leen Vandereyken is an accomplished auteur, scenarist, and storyteller with extensive experience in film, literature, and education. Since 2007, Leen has been working independently on various projects, including a feature film scenario supported by VAF and multiple collaborations with notable production companies such as Heartmade Media and Polar Bear. Leen's writing portfolio includes narratives for miniseries, short films, and children's books, with titles published by Horizon and WPG Uitgevers. Additionally, Leen co-founded the Belgian brand 2Flamingos, specializing in artistically designed silk scarves. Leen has also contributed as a writer and editor for Studio 100 and held workshop facilitator roles teaching creative writing across Belgium. Education credentials include participation in various storytelling seminars and a master's degree in novel writing from Queridoacademie Amsterdam.
