Pablo Táboas Rivas

Pablo Táboas Rivas is an Acoustic Engineer at WSAudiology since October 2021, previously serving as a Student Assistant in Electro Acoustic Development. Prior experience includes a Technical Intern position at Voith Group, where machine monitoring and analysis of a mining belt's sensor data were key responsibilities. While studying for a Bachelor's thesis at Voith Digital Ventures, Pablo focused on acoustic monitoring through machine learning to detect hydro-turbine clogging. Earlier, during an internship at Voith Digital Solutions, valuable foundational experience was gained. Pablo holds a Master's degree in Acoustic Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark (August 2021 - July 2023) and a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidade de Vigo (2014 - 2020), along with a professional music degree in bagpipe from Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Vigo (2005 - 2016).
