Avneet Kainth

Avneet Kainth currently serves as the Director of Transit, Bus and Fleet at WSP, a position held since October 2025. Prior to this role, Avneet worked at Metrolinx from November 2022 to October 2025 as the Program Director for the Zero Emissions Bus and Infrastructure program, focusing on the transition to a Zero Emissions GO bus fleet. Avneet also held the role of Director, Engineering and Asset Management - Projects at Metrolinx, overseeing fleet engineering and capital projects related to electrification and infrastructure. Earlier experience includes managing Fleet Services for the City of Burlington, leading technical teams at Chartright Air Group for aircraft maintenance, and various roles at Skyservice, BOMBARDIER, Thales, and CAE in aviation support and management. Avneet completed studies at Sheridan College from January 2008 to September 2011.
