David Madge

David Madge is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of the Research Services Division at WuXi AppTec since January 2014, David also holds the title of Project Director. Prior to this, David co-founded Cogent Bioscience, providing consultancy to early-stage drug discovery companies from June 2013 to November 2017. David's past roles include Chief Scientific Officer at Inovion Pharma, VP of Research at Xention Discovery, and VP of Chemistry at Xention, among others. David began a distinguished career at Wellcome Foundation plc as a Medicinal Chemist after earning a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from Imperial College London and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Bangor University.
