Kewei Yang

Kewei Yang, Ph.D., PMP, is a seasoned pharmaceutical professional currently serving as Director and CMC lead at WuXi Biologics since September 2022, focusing on CMC development and manufacturing for biologics. Prior to this role, Kewei held various positions at Roche from May 2014 to August 2022, including Pharmaceutical Scientist and Project Leader, where responsibilities encompassed pharmaceutical and process development as well as managing external CMC collaborations. Additionally, Kewei led technical transfer initiatives across countries for specific products. Experience at Novartis as a Post-Doctoral researcher involved developing liposomal formulations for cancer and inflammation therapies. Kewei's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Technology from Friedrich Schiller University Jena and both bachelor's and master's degrees in Pharmaceutics from Peking University.
