Datus Puryear

Datus Puryear is a professional actor currently performing as the character LIGHT in the inaugural cast of AWAKENING at Wynn Las Vegas since April 2022. With a career spanning over a decade, Puryear has been represented as an On Camera & VoiceOver Commercial client at Innovative Artists since 2013, specializing in commercial and television work. Prior experience includes serving as an intern with the Bruce E. Coyle Intern Acting Company at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park from July 2012 to May 2013. Datus Puryear holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater, with a Minor in Music, from Ohio Northern University, completed in 2011.
