Mayank Girdhar

Mayank Girdhar serves as Managing Director of Business Innovation at X, the moonshot factory, and holds the title of Senior Advisor for Project Commercialization and Climate Projects. In tandem with these roles, Mayank contributes as a mentor on the Teaching Team for Stanford Climate Ventures and acts as an Innovation Coach in Stanford Ecopreneurship Programs. Additionally, Mayank is a Senior Business Advisor for Fusion Energy at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and Managing Director focusing on Climate, Clean Energy, and Sustainability at UpSpark. Mayank is also part of the Climate & Energy Brain Trust at XPRIZE. Previous experiences include significant roles at Black Diamond, Melita Ltd., Bosphorus Capital, Dresdner Kleinwort, and Stonegate Pub Company Limited. Mayank earned a Master of Science in Management for Experienced Leaders (MSx) from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, a B.A. with Honours in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, and completed executive education at INSEAD.
