Evelyn Valenzuela

Evelyn Valenzuela is currently the Academy Team Lead at Quantexa, providing support and coaching for learners in the Data Engineer Academy, while also evaluating projects and offering constructive feedback. Additionally, Evelyn serves as a Software Engineer at Xander Talent. Previous experience includes a Software Development Bootcamp at Just IT, where knowledge of system development lifecycle and web technologies was acquired. Evelyn has a background in biological sciences, having worked as a Biological Science Technician at Emanuel School, where responsibilities included planning and executing biology experiments. Earlier roles include Research Assistant and Fieldwork Biologist at Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaiso, where Evelyn contributed to various ecological and evolutionary projects, as well as laboratory roles involving specimen analysis. Evelyn holds a BSc in Biology from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso and completed a Software Developer Bootcamp at Just IT.
