Rebecca Buchanan

Rebecca Buchanan possesses extensive experience in finance and business management, currently serving on the Xero Partner Advisory Council since July 2025 and as the Founder and CEO of Straight Up Bookkeeping since June 2019, where support is provided to purpose-led Australian business owners. Prior to these roles, Rebecca held senior finance positions at Westpac from April 2010 to May 2019, including Senior Finance Manager for Westpac Pacific and the Retail & Business Bank, focusing on strategic financial management. Additional experience includes serving as Finance Manager at One Fine Collective from August 2015 to September 2017 and obtaining qualifications as a Chartered Accountant from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand while holding a Master of Accounting degree from Macquarie University.
