Lu Weibing, born in September 1975, graduated from Tsinghua University in 1998 with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, and received his EMBA degree from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB) in 2009. He is Partner and President of the Group, and President of the International Business Department, and is in charge of the Smartphone Department, Ecosystem Department, Major Appliance Department, China Region, and India Region.

Lu Weibing joined the Group in 2019 and has since been in charge of China Region Sales and the International Department, as well as branding, product planning, manufacturing, and sales & marketing of Redmi. Relying on years of marketing experience and profound insights, he led the team and formulated the strategic goals and business directions, and achieved very positive outcomes.

Before joining the Group, Lu Weibing founded Shenzhen Chenyee Technology Co., Ltd. and served as CEO of the organisation from June 2017 to December 2018. Between April 2010 and June 2017, he served as President of Gionee Communication Equipment Co., Ltd. From January 2008 to March 2010, he worked at Beijing Tianyu Communication Equipment Co., Ltd. as General Manager of the Overseas Business Department. From July 1998 to December 2007, he worked as Sales General Manager of Shenzhen Konka Telecommunications Co., Ltd.

Qu Heng graduated from the Computer Science and Engineering Department of Beihang University in 2003, and obtained a master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2013. He is Vice President of the Group and Chairman of the Group Technology Committee, and is in charge of the Group Quality Committee and Group Procurement Committee.

Qu Heng joined the Group in 2010 and is one of the founding team members at Xiaomi. He was responsible for MIUI and the development of Mi-Talk, while also taking on roles including router system engineer. After becoming General Manager of the Ecosystem Department in 2018, Qu Heng has led the team to work on the smartphone-centred smart ecosystem layout and the implementation of the Group's "Smartphone x AIoT" strategy, so as to develop Xiaomi as the largest consumer-grade IoT platform in the world.

Before joining the Group, he worked at Beijing Kingsoft Co., Ltd. from April 2005 to April 2010, and took on various roles such as engineer, development manager and project manager, accumulating rich experience in software development and project management.

Wang Xiaoyan obtained a bachelor's degree in Physics from Beijing Normal University in 1994, and received an MBA degree from Renmin University of China in 1999. He is Vice President of the Group and President of the China Region.

Wang Xiaoyan joined the Group in 2019 and has been responsible for the E-Commerce Department, Sales and Operation Department, New Retail Department and Carrier Department of China Region. He has played a decisive role in the stabilisation and development of the new retail business of the China Region despite the unfavourable external environment.

Before joining the Group, he had 20 years of experience in the communications industry. He developed the Xiaolajiao smartphone brand from 2010 to 2019, served as a senior sales manager at Beijing Tianyu Communication Equipment Co., Ltd. from 2006 to 2010 and worked at ZTE from 1999 to 2005.

Wang Xiaoyan

Ma Ji obtained a master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Zhejiang University in 2002. He is Vice President of the Group and General Manager of the Internet Business Department.

Ma Ji joined the Group in 2013 and has been responsible for the MIUI Security Centre, MIUI products, and Xiaomi's global Internet business. He led the team to facilitate the globalisation of MIUI and Xiaomi's Internet products and services. He took on the role of General Manager of the Internet Business Department in December 2020, becoming responsible for Xiaomi's global Internet products and services, as well as commercialisation.

Before joining the Group, he served as Project Manager of 360 Mobile Safe and 360 Mobile Assistant at Qihoo 360 from September 2010 to May 2013, and had accumulated years of experience in the carrier and mobile Internet industries.

Zhu Dan received a Master's degree in Automatic Control from the Beijing Institute of Technology in 2003. He is Vice President of the Group and Vice President of R&D, Smartphone Department.

Zhu Dan joined the Group in 2010 and has been responsible for the Baseband Department, Product Department, Camera Department, and Display Department, all under the Smartphone Department of the Group. From 2016 to 2018, he was responsible for product planning in the Smartphone Product Department. From 2018 to 2021, he was responsible for R&D management and technical roadmap for the Camera Department and led the Camera Department to receive two DXO first places. 

Before joining the Group, Zhu Dan worked at Motorola North Asia Centre from October 2003 to October 2008 as a Research and Development Engineer. Zhu Dan worked for Firebrand Technology Co., Ltd. from October 2008 to October 2010 as the R&D Director of the Baseband Department, where he was responsible for mobile phone R&D and management.

Liu Qin is a Senior Product Manager who has worked for companies such as Baidu, Inc. and Amazon. Liu is currently the Non-Executive Director at [Xiaomi](/org/xiaomi). Qin has extensive experience leading projects in an international environment and is skilled in search product design, project management, and team leadership.

Liu Qin completed their Bachelor's degree in International Business Management from the Hanzehogeschool Groningen in the Netherlands. Liu then went on to complete their Bachelor's degree in the same field from the Moscow Plekhanov Academy in Russia. Finally, they completed their International Baccalaureate from Beijing Huijia Private College in China.

Zhang Feng joined [Xiaomi](/org/xiaomi) in September 2016, and he is Group Chief of Staff. Zhang Feng is responsible for assisting the CEO in formulating the Group Development Strategy and supervising the implementation of the strategies of the various business departments. And Zhang Feng is concurrently Chairman of the Group Procurement Committee. He is responsible for integrate the procurement needs of various departments of the company, improve procurement capability, optimize the procurement process and its efficiency.
He received a bachelor’s degree in radio electronics from Shanghai Technology and Science University. Zhang Feng Engaged in the mobile phone and communication industry for more than 20 years. From 1993-2012, he worked as general manager at Inventec group’s Nanjing branch. In 2013, Mr. Zhang founded Jiangsu Zimi Electronic Technology Co. Ltd and served as the general manager, and Zimi became one of [Xiaomi](/org/xiaomi)’s ecosystem partners

Lin Bin joined [Xiaomi](/org/xiaomi) in 2010. He is in charge of handset R&D and supply chain management.He graduated from Sun Yat-sen University in 1990 with a bachelor degree in electronic engineering. He was obtained his master degree of computer science from [Drexel University](/org/drexel-university) in the United States of America. From1995-2006, he acted as Director engineer of Microsoft Corporation, Senior Development Manager of Microsoft Research Institute in Asia, and Director of Microsoft Advanced Technology Center ( ATC ), etc. He involved in the software research of Windows Vista、IE8 during this period. He joined Google at the end of 2006 as vice president and Google global engineering director of Google China Academy of Engineering. He is solely responsible for Google China Mobile search, android localization application team formation, engineering research and development.

Professor Tong Wai Cheung Timothy (唐偉章), aged 66, is an independent non-executive Director, the chairman of the Nomination Committee and a member of the Corporate Governance Committee. He joined the Group in August 2019.

Prof. Tong Wai Cheung Timothy received a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from [Oregon State University](/org/oregon-state-university), and a Master of Science and PhD degree in the same discipline from the University of California at Berkeley. Prof. Tong Wai Cheung Timothy serves as the chairman of the Council, Hong Kong Laureate Forum, and the chairman of the Citizens Advisory Committee on Community Relations of the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC). He also serves as a member of the Advisory Committee on Corruption of the ICAC and the InnoHK Steering Committee. Additionally, he has been appointed a Non-official Justice of the Peace and a member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference since 2010 and 2013 respectively. Prof. Tong Wai Cheung Timothy has over 30 years of teaching, research and administrative experience in universities in the United States and Hong Kong. Prior to taking the office as president of [The Hong Kong Polytechnic University](/org/the-hong-kong-polytechnic-university) from 2009 to 2018, he was a professor and dean of the School of Engineering and Applied Science at The George Washington University. Since July 2019, Prof. Tong has served as CEO of AMTD Foundation. He is a fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Sciences (“HKAES”) and the International Thermal Conductivity Conference. He served as the president of HKAES in 2018.

He has served as Senior Vice President and President of [ZTE Corporation](/org/zte-corporation) in China, Executive Vice President of [ZTE Corporation](/org/zte-corporation) and CEO of ZTE Terminal. Yan Kesheng joined [Xiaomi](/org/xiaomi) in 2010, and is responsible for the quality management of all products and services. In addition, He is responsible for cadres training sessions.
He graduated from Hefei University with a degree in Technology in agricultural machinery design and manufacturing. Prior to joining [Xiaomi](/org/xiaomi), he worked as a chief Mechanical engineer at Motorola China, and participated in the research and development of many world-class products. He has more than 20 years of experience in telecommunications product design, research and development, and quality control.

Alain Lam joined Xiaomi in October 2020 and is responsible for financial management. He graduated from Oxford University with a master's degree in engineering. Prior to joining Xiaomi, he served as the Managing Director and Head of Technology and Media in the Investment Banking and Capital Markets of Credit Suisse, as well as the Managing Director of Morgan Stanley. He has executed US stock IPO projects such as Kingsoft Cloud, Xiaopeng Motors and Pinduoduo, as well as Hong Kong stock IPO projects such as Alibaba, Xiaomi, and NetEase.He has more than 20 years of practical experience in capital markets.

Chen Dongsheng (陳東升), aged 62, has served as an independent non-executive Director since June 2018. He also currently serves as the chairman of both the Remuneration Committee and the Corporate Governance Committee, and a member of the Audit Committee. Chen Dongsheng has served as the chairman of [Taikang](/org/taikang) Insurance Group Inc. (泰康保險集團股份有限公司) (formerly known as [Taikang](/org/taikang) Life Insurance Co., Ltd (泰康人壽保險股份有限公司)) (“Taikang”) since July 1996. He is currently the CEO of [Taikang](/org/taikang) and holds various directorships within the [Taikang](/org/taikang) group. Prior to this, Chen Dongsheng served as the chairman and the general manager of China Guardian Auctions Co., Ltd (中國嘉德國際拍賣有限公司) from May 1993. Prior to this, Chen Dongsheng worked as the deputy editor of the Management World (monthly), published by the Development Research Center of the State Council of China.

Chen Dongsheng has accumulated extensive corporate governance experience during his leadership in the [Taikang](/org/taikang) group, as he oversaw the reform and optimization of the group’s corporate governance structure. Key corporate governance initiatives implemented during Chen Dongsheng’s tenure include (i) formalizing the structure, functions and accountability of the corporate governance bodies within the [Taikang](/org/taikang) group, (ii) introducing board executive, audit, nomination and remuneration committees, the members of which are selected by election, and (iii) appointing independent directors.
