Jingyi Wan

Jingyi Wan is an experienced Project Manager currently leading the HVDC Cable System design and manufacturing at Xlinks since June 2023. In addition to this role, Jingyi has served as the CIGRE NGN International Representative for the UK since January 2018, including a term as NGN UK Chair from 2019 to 2020. Previous positions include Product Engineer at Vattenfall, overseeing dynamic cable products and windfarm projects, Senior Engineer at Arcadis for the Shetland HVDC link, and Project Engineer at Mott MacDonald for large-scale cable solutions like NeuConnect. Jingyi began a career in product development and design engineering at JDR Cable Systems, focusing on subsea cables and accessories. Academic qualifications include a Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
