Eduardo Merighi

Eduardo Merighi is currently the VP of Engineering at XP Inc. Eduardo has held this position since September 2020. Prior to that, they were the VP Software Engineering at XP Inc. from August 2018 to September 2020. Before that, they were the CTO at Neon from May 2017 to August 2018. Before that, they were the CTO at Sascar from June 2010 to April 2017.

Eduardo Merighi has extensive experience in technology architecture (functional, information, application, integration, technical, and infrastructure) to support the management and integrated vision of projects, executing short-term actions to define and follow up on system development and infrastructure activities and conceiving the target IT architecture of the company for the long term, with the design of the transition necessary to achieve the proposed objectives.

Eduardo has also been a leader in initiatives for innovation and digital transformation of IT, including review of the architectural platform (functional, informational, application, and technical architectures), roadmap for adoption of cloud platforms, API, DevOps in order to bring greater agility and effectiveness in deliveries demanded by internal and external customers of the company.

In addition, they have experience in reviewing processes, methods, tools, and personal profiles for the digital transformation of the company, applying the best practices of agile development frameworks (SAFe - Scaled Agile Framework and DAD - Disciplined Agile Framework) in the disciplines of the area (project management, architecture and software quality

Eduardo Merighi has an MBA in Information Technology from the University of São Paulo, a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, and a bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas.
