Cristian Avramescu is a software engineer who has worked with various programming languages and technologies over the course of their career. Cristian began their career as a software developer with Amorph Systems, where they worked on ingesting data from airport's wifi and push it to Cassandra and Spark through Akka and Kafka. Cristian also developed web applications using Angularjs, Vuejs, and jQuery. In March 2017, they joined OPSWAT as a data engineer. There they generated reports for marketing team by developing queries on logs from different sources like AWS S3 or MongoDB using technologies such as Spark and Hive on Tez. Cristian also maintained the Big Data platform on Amazon Web Services. In January 2018, they joined BIScience as a software engineer. There they used ElasticSearch to generate consumption reports for customers based on their proxy traffic. Cristian also detect DDOS attacks and create ip cooldown in real-time, based on the data ingested to elk. Currently, they are working as a software architect at XVision.

Cristian Avramescu attended Politehnica University of Timisoara, where they received a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Computer Software Engineering. Cristian also attended Liceul Grigore Moisil, where they graduated with a degree in Informatics and Mathematics.
