Steinar Skar

Steinar Skar currently serves as SVP CFO Yara Americas and SVP CFO Yara Brazil at Yara International, a position held since April 2004, where responsibilities also include roles as Chief Internal Risk & Audit Executive and Head of Financial Solutions & Risk. Prior experience includes serving as Risk Manager for Hydro Agri and International Credit Manager at Norsk Hydro from January 1996 to April 2004, along with earlier roles as Sales Manager and Underwriter at Storebrand from July 1989 to December 1995. Steinar Skar holds a Master of Science in Business, Business and Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics, completed from 1985 to 1989, and has educational credentials from Junior Officer School and Asker Videregående Skole.
