Irit Sagi

Irit Sagi is an accomplished academic and industry leader serving as the Chair of the Board of Directors at Yeda - Technology Transfer Company of Weizmann Institute of Science since 2020, where the focus is on commercializing intellectual property from the Weizmann Institute. Sagi is also the founder of BINA - Bridge Innovate Nurture Advance, and has held several prestigious roles at the Weizmann Institute of Science since 1997, including Vice President of Technology Transfer and Professor in the Department of Biological Regulation. Additionally, Sagi has served as Dean of the Feinberg Graduate School and has academic experience as a Sabbatical Professor at Harvard University and a Visiting Professor at the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research. Educational background includes a PhD in Physical Chemistry from Georgetown University and postdoctoral studies in Structural Biology at the Weizmann Institute.
