Kelsey Solomon

Kelsey Solomon is an experienced education professional with a strong background in campus operations, academic project management, and teacher training. Currently serving as the Director of Campus Operations at YES Prep Public Schools since July 2015, Kelsey has successfully led the development of operational schedules, increased recruitment applications, and enhanced professional development for staff. As a Project Specialist, Kelsey achieved high employee satisfaction through streamlined training programs. Prior work experience includes teaching and program development roles at Teach For America Houston, where significant student reading growth was accomplished, and leading grassroots literacy initiatives with Americorps Vista. Kelsey holds a Master of Science in Educational Studies from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
