Kristy Chen

Kristy Chen currently serves as an Intervention Support Worker at York Region District School Board since September 2025. Prior to this role, Kristy was a Lead Therapist and Instructor Therapist at The Portia Learning Centre from March 2023 to August 2025, and an Instructor Therapist at Exceptional Learning Centre from October 2022 to March 2023, where direct ABA/IBI therapy was provided to children with ASD, behavioral challenges, and developmental delays. Kristy's earlier experience includes working as a Hostess at Sassafraz Restaurant from May 2019 to May 2022. Kristy earned an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Criminology & Sociolegal Studies from the University of Toronto, completing studies in April 2022.
