Emily Gutman

Emily Gutman is a dedicated educator currently serving as a 6th Grade Mathematics Teacher at Yorktown Central School District since August 2023. Prior to this role, Emily was a Mentor Teacher for The National Summer School Initiative from June 2023 to August 2023. Emily's extensive experience at Achievement First spanned from July 2016 to July 2023, where roles included Academic Dean of Math, Associate Dean of Math, and a 7th and 6th Grade Mathematics Teacher, as well as Teacher-in-Residence. Earlier in Emily's career, positions included Membership Manager at NationSwell, Kiva Zip Fellow at Kiva.org, and various financial analyst roles at J.P. Morgan. Emily holds a Master of Arts in Junior High/Intermediate/Middle School Education and Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Barnard College.
