Marília Azevedo

Marília Azevedo is the CFO at Zak. Marília has over eight years of experience in the financial sector, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, credit, prepayment of receivables, debt capital markets, and financial architecture. Prior to joining Zak, Marília was the Head of Financial Products & Partner at Stone from January 2017 to April 2021. Before that, they were a Senior M&A Associate on the Technology, Media and Telecom team at Caravel Corporate Finance from May 2013 to January 2017. Marília started their career as an M&A Intern at Galia Finance from May 2011 to May 2013. Marília also spent time at Heidrick & Struggles as a Research from March 2010 to April 2011, where they were responsible for research and identification of potential candidates, phone interviews with potential candidates, database administration, elaboration of reports, and curriculum analysis. Marília has a deep understanding of the financial sector and extensive experience in financial planning and analysis.

Marília Azevedo has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, a Master's degree in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking from FIA - Fundação Instituto de Administração, and has completed an Executive Management Program in Advanced Topics in Financial Decisions and Corporate Policy from the University of La Verne. Marília is currently enrolled in Stanford Ignite - Global Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Marília Azevedo reports to Andres Andrade, Co-CEO. They are on a team with Marina Lima - Chief Revenue Officer, Rômulo Galvão - Chief Product Officer.
