Hrishikesh Murali

Hrishikesh Murali has extensive work experience in the field of engineering. Hrishikesh is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Zepto since 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Engineering at GoTo Financial from 2022 to 2023, where they focused on driving engineering for consumer lending in the SEA region. Hrishikesh also worked as the Director of Engineering at Upstox in 2022. From 2018 to 2022, Hrishikesh was a Senior Engineering Manager at Grab, leading a team in the microlending domain and building the engineering team from scratch. Hrishikesh served as a Technical Lead at Paytm from 2017 to 2018. Before that, they worked as a Software Development Engineer 2 at Flipkart from 2015 to 2017, where they were involved in backend development and played a key role in the Affiliate Marketing system. Hrishikesh began their career as a Software Engineer 3 at Cisco from 2012 to 2015, where they worked on multiple feature developments and device driver development for the CRS router.

Hrishikesh Murali completed their education with a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Operating Systems from the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in 2010. Hrishikesh's early education was at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan Sr. Sec. School, where they studied Mathematics and Computer Science from 1991 to 2006.
