Koen Christiaensen is the COO at ZF Group, a position held since 2019, and is also a Board Member of Flanders Make since 2024, where they support initiatives to enhance Flanders' manufacturing industry through innovation. Previously, Koen served as Plant Head and engaged in strategic projects at ZF Wind Power from 2011 to 2014, and was the Director of Operations at Hansen Transmissions from 2007 to 2010, managing all operational activities at the Lommel plant. Koen holds degrees in Mechatronics and Industrial Management from KU Leuven, where they studied from 1988 to 1994. Additionally, they took a short sabbatical in 2014.
