Ryan Berry

As Senior Vice President of Risk Management & Brokerage Operations at Zillow Group, Ryan oversees operations for transactions, title & escrow, property service, risk management and regulated real estate.

Before joining Zillow Group in 2018, Ryan served as executive vice president and general counsel at Starwood Waypoint Homes during its $20 billion merger with Invitation Homes. He previously served in the same role for Spirit Realty Capital, a commercial property real estate investment trust. As a member of the senior leadership team at both companies, Ryan led the legal, governance, compliance and administrative operational functions. He also managed the execution of corporate finance and strategic transactions.

Before Spirit Realty Capital, Ryan was in private legal practice and advised on corporate and finance transactions, securities laws compliance, and corporate governance at Latham & Watkins and Polsinelli.
