Roberto Damen

Roberto Damen is a seasoned leader in the consumer goods and e-commerce sectors, currently serving as Managing Director & Country Manager for zooplus, overseeing the Netherlands' largest online pet store since October 2017. Previously, Roberto held the position of Managing Director and Sales & Marketing Director at DistriRead, where the transition from a wholesaler to an OEM brand was successfully managed, along with the development of the Icarus e-reader brand. Roberto's earlier experience at Philips Consumer Lifestyle encompasses roles such as Senior Manager of Consumer Marketing for grooming products, where significant portfolio revamps were executed, and Business Improvement Manager, focusing on enhancing the marketing and sales organization's efficiencies. Roberto holds a Master's degree in International Business from Tilburg University and an additional Master's degree in International Economics and Marketing from Kiel University.
