Eamonn Carey

Eamonn Carey is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in cloud engineering and architecture. Currently serving as the Head of Cloud Engineering at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd since April 2021, Eamonn previously held the role of Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Architect at IBM, where technical leadership was provided for a globally dispersed team. Prior experience includes positions as Technical Architect at Wonga.com, where Eamonn designed system improvements, and as Senior Application Specialist at Global Betting Exchange, leading a team of IT Engineers. Eamonn co-founded Bounce Broadband, contributing to the creation of an ISP focused on providing high-speed internet services to rural areas. Eamonn holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Trinity College Dublin and a Master's degree in DevOps from TU Dublin.
