Luke Bechtel has an extensive work experience in engineering, software development, and research. In 2021, they began working as the Director of Engineering for Revaly, a browser-based, realtime 3D Collaboration platform. In 2020, they were Spaces Team Lead and Computational Geometry Engineer for ZVerse, Inc. From 2016 to 2019, they were Cofounder and Head of Scientific Computing and Head of Software for Collider, a fast 3D printer. In 2019, they were a Software Engineer for Cadre5. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Software Developer and Software Representative for Vortext, where they created an App that harnessed Big Data algorithms for the medical field. In 2014, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant for Neural Networks at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. In 2013, they were a Controls and Automation Engineering Co-Op for Keurig Green Mountain, Inc., where they invented, developed, and programmed a novel Visual Inventory Placement System. Luke was also a Laboratory Assistant at the University of Tennessee in 2013.

Luke Bechtel attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 2011 to 2016, earning a degree in Computer Science. Luke then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Computer Science with a Machine Learning Specialization from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
