Fernando Cerna

Fernando Cerna is an accomplished sales and marketing professional with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Currently serving as the Director of Sales & Marketing at 1 Hotel South Beach since November 2018, Fernando previously held the position of Director of Sales and Marketing at EAST, Miami, where responsibilities included overseeing all sales and marketing operations for the hotel's introduction in the U.S. Prior to that, Fernando was the Area Director of Travel Industry Sales for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company LLC, leading leisure sales teams and international sales efforts. Fernando's career also includes a role as Director of Global Sales for Morgans Hotel Group, managing international sales across multiple high-profile hotel brands. Additional experience includes the role of Director of Sales at The Grove Isle Hotel & Spa and a tenure as Regional Sales Manager at Morgans Hotel Group. Fernando holds a degree from Universidad Católica de Honduras 'Nuestra Señora Reina de la Paz'.
