Bipin Mathew

Bipin Mathew has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Bipin started their career at MIT Lincoln Laboratory in 2002, where they worked as an Assistant Technical Staff. In this role, Bipin implemented and evaluated radar signal processing algorithms for the KASSPER initiative of DARPA and served as a software architect for the ISP project, implementing Swarm Intelligence based algorithms for efficient communication bandwidth usage.

In 2008, Bipin joined Fidessa as an Operations Specialist. Here, they maintained production servers and applications for the sell-side equity order management system and managed software changes on large-scale production systems in the finance industry.

Since 2012, Bipin has been with 1010data. Bipin started as a System's Developer, where they designed, implemented, and maintained a self-service application called PowerLoader for clients to perform data extraction, transformation, and loading tasks. Bipin also developed server-side technology and APIs for direct data loading from clients' ODBC compliant databases.

Bipin then progressed to the role of a Senior Software Engineer at 1010data. In addition to their previous responsibilities, they transitioned the ETL technologies to AWS and implemented custom bindings into the technology stack using the AWS CPP SDK. Bipin also implemented a Jenkins-based continuous integration solution for building and deploying the core product.

Recently, Bipin has been promoted to the position of Principal Software Engineer at 1010data, where they continue to contribute their technical expertise to the company.

Bipin Mathew completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, which they attended from 1998 to 2002. Bipin then pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, where they studied from 2005 to 2010. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Bipin attended The Bronx H.S. of Science from 1994 to 1998. In addition to their formal education, Bipin obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in December 2014.
