Yossi Sassi

Yossi Sassi has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Yossi is the Co-Founder and Chief Security Architect of Ten Root Cyber Security Ltd since 2020. In 2021, they became an Advisory Board Member for Heavys Inc. where they contributed to re-inventing headphones and improving the connection between art makers and consumers.

Prior to these roles, Yossi Sassi worked as a self-employed Cyber Security Researcher, Hacker, Trusted Advisor, and Speaker since 2010. Yossi specialized in delivering consulting, training, and assessments for large banks, defense industries, and the Israeli defense forces. Yossi also served as a Senior Consultant and Trainer/Speaker for H@\u05dbk the Planet from 2010 to 2018.

Alongside their cybersecurity career, Yossi Sassi pursued their passion for music. In 2011, they founded and led Yossi Sassi & The Oriental Rock Orchestra, redefining Oriental Rock with a blend of East and West influences. Prior to this, they were a Co-Founder, Producer, Composer, and Lead Guitarist for Orphaned Land, pioneers of middle-eastern progressive metal, from 1991 to 2014.

Yossi Sassi also served as a member of the Advisory Board for Javelin Networks, a company acquired by Symantec, from 2014 to 2019. Before that, they held positions such as Deputy CEO & CTO at Jobookit Technologies Ltd., CTO at Taldor Group, and Technology Solutions & Partners Group Manager at Microsoft.

In 1998, Yossi Sassi served as the CIO of Orian-Schenker. Overall, their work experience reflects their expertise in cybersecurity, music, and leading roles in various organizations.

Yossi Sassi has a Master's degree in Law from Bar-Ilan University. Yossi also holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics/Business Management from Ruppin Academy. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in CISSP from (ISC)².
