Simon Barnes has a diverse work experience that spans several companies and roles. Simon co-founded 10T Tech Limited in 2017 and also served as the Deputy CEO. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Director at Peak Capital Limited. Prior to that, they were a Partner at NTB Capital from 2014 to 2019. Simon also worked at Oakley Global Connections as a Principal Consultant, where they provided consulting services for companies expanding into Asia. Simon held a role as a Hedge Fund Transition Manager at J.P. Morgan from 2012 to 2014 and as the Head of Client Onboarding at BNP Paribas from 2009 to 2012. Their early career included a position as a Derivatives Prime Brokerage - Client Service at Merrill Lynch from 2007 to 2008.
Simon Barnes attended Wellington College from 1989 to 1994. Simon later pursued a degree in Economics at The University of Manchester from 1994 to 1998.
