Conor O'Rourke

Conor O'Rourke is a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with a focus on fintech and cloud-native banking solutions, currently working at 10x Future Technologies since January 2020. Prior to this role, Conor contributed to the Department for Work and Pensions as a Senior Software Engineer, overseeing full-stack development for a widely used web application. Experience also includes positions at ASOS.com, where Conor built scalable systems using Java and microservices architecture, and at MOVE Guides, partaking in the transition from monolithic to microservices as the startup grew. Conor's career began at Fidelity Investments, where development work involved Oracle and Java technologies. Conor holds a Master’s Degree in Software Design & Development and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Galway.
