Daryn Cox has extensive work experience in various design roles. Starting in 1996, they worked at AOL as a Senior Technical Support Representative for five years. Daryn then moved on to Counterpoint Communications, where they worked as a Graphic Designer until 2004. At Counterpoint Communications, they played a key role in redesigning the corporate website for Deer Valley Resort in preparation for the 2002 Winter Olympic games.

In 2004, Daryn joined Merydion Corporation as a Graphic Designer, where they created compelling brand identities and visual design direction for various clients. Daryn also worked on projects such as logo and branding development, printed materials, website design, and portal template design.

From 2007 to 2015, Daryn worked at Tomax Corporation as a Sr. Designer & Production Manager. In this role, they managed mobile point-of-sale (POS) applications, corporate websites, and design work for trade show booths, marketing, and advertising. Daryn was also tasked with creating a mobile POS solution for a legacy iOS application.

Daryn then joined Demandware, a Salesforce company, in 2015 as a UX/Visual Designer. Daryn worked on driving strategy, research, and design for enterprise IT solutions. Daryn also built mobile storefront applications for both point-of-sale and back office usage.

In 2016, Daryn transitioned to Salesforce as a UX/Product Designer. Daryn further advanced their career by designing next-gen Order Management and Inventory experiences. Daryn led user research and strategy to design end-to-end experiences and served as the lead product designer for the Shopper Self-Service Order Management project through multiple releases.

Currently, Daryn is working at 1440 as the Lead UX Designer, a position they have held since November 2020. Additionally, they work as a freelance Graphic Designer, leveraging their creative skills and taking on new and exciting design challenges.

Daryn Cox obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Communications/Graphic Design from Weber State University. The timeframe of this education history is unspecified, except that it was completed prior to 2003.
