About $15 Sewer & Drain Service

Established in San Jose in 1983, $15 Sewer & Drain Service was built on a simple but powerful vision: honest work at a fair price. Founder Mark McGinnis started as a one-man team, charging just $15 per drain per hour, and through decades of relentless dedication and exceptional service, grew the business into the largest locally owned plumbing company in the Bay Area.

In January 2020, Mark passed away unexpectedly at the age of 60, leaving behind a remarkable legacy and a devoted team. His wife, Valerie McGinnis, chose to carry the business forward, inspired by the loyalty of their employees and the values her husband had built the company upon.

Today, $15 Sewer & Drain remains proudly family-owned and operated. Valerie is joined by her three children, who continue their father's enduring mission of delivering trusted, community-first plumbing service to the San Jose area and beyond.

Over 40 years of service. One family. One commitment.
