16albermarle is a gallery and project space dedicated to bringing contemporary southeast Asian art to Australian audiences since 2019. Directed by John Cruthers in partnership with Sam Cruthers and managed by Rosario Aguirre, the gallery presents exhibitions, public programs and educational resources that deepen understanding of the region’s vibrant contemporary art scene. 

16albermarle also organises art study tours to the region every year, facilitates creative agency services for artist commissions and participates annually in the Sydney Contemporary Art Fair.
