Kenneth Ashner

Kenneth Ashner's work experience begins in 1988 as a Claims Adjuster at Kemper Insurance. Kenneth then worked as a Claims Supervisor at Scott Wetzel Services from 1992 to 1995. After that, they served as a Branch Claims Manager at Reliance Insurance from 1995 to 1998. Kenneth then joined AIG as a Claims Analyst from 1998 to 2003. Following this, Kenneth worked at Westfield Insurance, where they held the positions of Claims and Risk Services Leader from 2003 to 2016, and Business Process Leader from 2016 to 2019. Currently, they are a Venture Manager at 1848 Ventures, backed by Westfield, responsible for developing new products and business models outside conventional insurance.

Kenneth Ashner received their Bachelor's of Music in Music Business from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, completing their studies from 1983 to 1987. Kenneth also obtained additional certifications throughout their career, including a Certified Innovation Engineering Black Belt from the Innovation Engineering Institute in January 2023. In addition, Kenneth obtained a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation from the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters in January 1997, and an Associate in Claims (AIC) designation from the American Institutes for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters in January 1990.
