1901 Petroleum is an independent oil and gas company focused on the acquisition, development, and production of oil and natural gas assets in Texas, with a strategic emphasis on the Permian Basin.

The company pursues a disciplined, geology-driven approach to asset selection and development, leveraging subsurface data, seismic interpretation, and reservoir characterization to identify high-quality opportunities within established producing trends. By targeting stacked pay intervals across multiple formations, 1901 Petroleum seeks to maximize value from each leasehold position while managing operational and geological risk.

Our development strategy spans both conventional and unconventional reservoirs, utilizing modern horizontal drilling and completion techniques where appropriate, while maintaining a strong focus on capital efficiency, operational execution, and long-term value creation. Ongoing reservoir evaluation and optimization play a key role in sustaining production and enhancing recovery.

The Permian Basin represents one of the most prolific and resilient petroleum systems in the world, characterized by thick sedimentary sequences containing multiple hydrocarbon-bearing formations, including the Wolfcamp, Spraberry, Bone Spring, and other Leonardian intervals. The stacked nature of these reservoirs allows for multi-zone development from a single surface location, improving capital efficiency and resource recovery.

In addition to technical execution, 1901 Petroleum structures creative and aligned partnerships, offering flexible working and non-working interest opportunities designed to meet the objectives of capital partners while maintaining disciplined operational control.

1901 Petroleum is committed to responsible development, sound engineering, and thoughtful capital deployment in pursuit of sustainable growth.
