Marc Brooks

Marc Brooks has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Marc is currently working at 1904labs as the Director of Information Technology, where they oversee the IT operations of the company. Previously, they worked as an Agile Engineering Lead at the same company, where they were responsible for project management and ensuring the smooth execution of agile practices.

Before joining 1904labs, Marc worked at SteadyRain as a Principal Software Engineer. In this role, they designed, developed, and troubleshooted applications written in various programming languages and CMS platforms. Marc also supervised and reviewed the code of MVC-based Software-as-a-Service applications.

Earlier in their career, Marc worked at Tacklr, acting as the chief architect, database designer, and development lead for multiple content curation and social media tracking projects. Marc also worked at INFUZ as a Hack Prime, developing ASP.Net-based web services for interactive marketing and analysis websites.

Prior to that, Marc worked as a Lead Architect at an Educational Software Company, where they successfully migrated an ASP VB6 COM+ application to ASP.Net. Marc also worked at Anheuser Busch as an Enterprise Architect and at Envision LLC as a Senior Architect/Consultant, gaining experience in designing and developing .Net-based applications.

Marc's early career includes roles such as Lead Technical Architect at CPI Corporation, where they designed and developed a sales and production system for Sears Portrait Studios, and Systems Architect at Charter Communications, where they designed and coded support classes for a distributed authentication and security system.

Throughout their career, Marc has displayed expertise in various programming languages, frameworks, and technologies, demonstrating their adaptability and skillset in the field of information technology.

Marc Brooks attended Washington University in St. Louis from 1981 to 1985, where they studied Computer Science and Electronics Engineering. In the same year, they also briefly attended the United States Naval Academy, focusing on Computer Science.
