Born from four generations of craftsmanship, 1950 Origins is redefining how India experiences tea - one cup at a time.

We exist to bring back the essence of authentic Indian tea culture, crafted for today’s world. Every blend is rooted in heritage, shaped by meticulous testing, and designed to foster a moment of connection, warmth and calm.

What Sets Us Apart:
• Sourced from the Finest: We select only from the top 2% of India’s tea gardens
• Crafted to Perfection: 500+ samples tasted, 90+ blend iterations to achieve balance and depth.
• Uncompromising quality: 112+ tests for purity, safety and consistency; certified by ISO, Trustea and FSSAI.
• Empowering Communities: Fair wages, healthcare and education support for the communities behind every cup.

We offer premium Assam and Darjeeling blends through our website, Amazon, and select luxury retail. Our curated products come in eco-friendly, reusable tins - crafted in small batches to ensure freshness, consistency and care in every sip.
Our vision is simple: to build a modern tea culture that honours India’s legacy while elevating everyday rituals.

We invite you to rediscover tea - the way it’s meant to be.
