CEO & Founder at 1950Labs

Leonel More has been working in the tech industry since 2002. In 2003, they became the IS Dept Manager at Salmon Industry S.A. de C.V. Leonel then moved to Soluciones Digitales 2000 in 2002, where they were the Network Implementation Supervisor, responsible for 140+ data and voice Panduit certified nodes. In 2004, they became the IT and Development Dept Manager at Vitelcom Mobile Technology, where they managed the IT infrastructure implementation, production IS implementation, and developed help desk dept. Leonel also developed 12 software pieces. In 2006, they became the Software Development Manager at Service Repair Solutions, where they managed two development teams and collaborated with the engineering structure from a high level. Leonel also provided coaching for USA, Mexico, Vietnam, and Russia teams. Leonel then founded Codilio in 2015, providing simple recruiting services to Uruguayan software companies. In 2016, they founded 1950Labs, a software development company with over 50 experienced developers, designers, testers, project managers, and innovators. In 2018, they became the Partners & Communities at Campus Party Uruguay, connecting the local community with the massive event. In 2006, they founded Chocolatte, a blog about creativity and innovation, and in 2008 they founded La Mejor Idea, a Spanish-speaking social network.

Leonel More has a diverse educational background. From 1999 to 2002, they earned an Engineer's Degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad ORT Uruguay. In 2011, they obtained a Certificate in IT Management from Universitario Autónomo del Sur, and from 2014 to 2017, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Universidad de la Empresa. Additionally, they hold certifications in CSM - Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance, ITIL v3 Foundation Level from APMG-International, and PMP - Project Management Professional from Project Management Institute.
