Richard's responsibilities included various aspects of data, infrastructure, and devops. Richard has also worked as a senior data engineer at WhatsApp, where they solved privacy issues for compliance with GDPR, European Privacy Directive, etc. Richard has also worked as a data scientist engineer at Snap Inc. and as a software engineer at Zipongo - Eating Well Made Simple.

Richard Chen completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Math Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. Richard also completed a non-degree in General Science from Simon Fraser University.
