Curtiss Barnes is the Chief Executive Officer of the 1EdTech Consortium, leading the world’s preeminent education technology standards organization with over 1,000 members across K-12, higher education, and workforce education interests worldwide. They are the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Argos Education, a role they have held since 2020. They previously served as Chief Operating Officer of Boclips (2023–2024) and held senior leadership roles at Oracle (Vice President, Industry Product Strategy, 2005–2010) and Pearson (2015), and they served on the board of IMS Global (Educational Standards NPO) from 2007 to 2013. They are pursuing an MBA at The Wharton School.
